The Great Virtual Hope

Thursday, June 27th, 2013

Our first live episode! In this episode, we discuss the upcoming addition of Virtual Realms to the game. Virtual Realms are sets of realms that are joined together and act as one realm. Players on the same Virtual Realm will be able to join guilds, access a single Auction House, join arena teams and raids, as well run dungeons or group up to complete quests.

We also discuss a new raid tier in between LFR and Normal called Flexible Raids. These raids will allow anywhere from 10-25 players (and anywhere in between) to join a group and complete a raid. This will also work through BattleTag/RealID, allowing people from other realms to complete current content.

As always, if you have a question/comment or if you are a GM or officer and would like to be on the show, you can send a message to us at Followtheleaderpodcast@gmail.com or on Twitter at @leaderpodcast! We will also be recording live from now on, so be sure to check us out when we are broadcasting here.

We Speak Cat

Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

Hello all! In this episode, we discuss some of the new features and additions from the 5.3 patch that can help out guilds. Running heroic scenarios for guild bank gold, Battlefield: Barrens for getting a few pieces of gear to catch up for raiding, and running old content for fun and for a chance at new pets!

We also discuss Kitchen Nightmares and a recent episode featuring Amy’s Baking Company and how it relates to leadership. If you want to know how not to run a restaurant (or guild), I would definitely recommend watching the episode. You will either laugh hysterically or be completely terrified (or both)! You can take a look at the episode here!

We discuss how raiding has changed throughout the expansions, switching from 25-man to 10-man raiding, and recruitment. We also discussed Malon’s ongoing #MageTips on his Twitter feed! Gingers Hate WoW

Friday, October 26th, 2012

Mists of Pandaria has arrived! In this episode we discuss some of the things we have been doing to prepare for raids as well as our thoughts on the Guild Mentor program and the implementation of items that could help new players even more.

*Edit by Jed: Only Aero hates Wow AND Gingers. Orv is a ginger, Nymphy dates him and I married a ginger. Please only write him hate mail. KTHX.*

*Another edit: Aero does not hate gingers, either. Mysterious gingers are awesome.*
